The SVC team had a fantastic day preparing a simple but tasty Thai feast at The Mistley Kitchen, a well renowned cookery school that offers one-day recreational hands-on cookery workshops.
We used beautiful fresh and local ingredients, the whole team came away with some great ideas, tips and tricks – we cannot wait to go back and learn some more in the new year.
Established in 2001 by American-born chef Sherri Singleton, The Mistley Kitchen Culinary Workshops have developed into a destination for keen cooks of all abilities from around the country. We made:
· Fresh Summer Rolls in Rice Paper
· Stir-Fried Prawns with Coriander and Basil
· Thai Fish Cakes with Cucumber Dip
· Classic Chicken Red Curry and Fish Curry with Jasmine Rice
· Coconut Crème Caramel
