SVC Gift Project | EACH East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices

22nd December 2015 SVC HQ News

This year SVC Group has chosen to forgo Christmas cards in favour of giving something back. CEO & Founder Amanda Simpson wanted to see if we could make a difference this festive season by supporting East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).

The team decided to launch #SVCGiftProject where instead of the usual ‘Secret Santa’ tradition, we each donated a new toy for either a girl or boy (or both) and started a collection of gifts under our office tree.  Some of our clients also came baring gifts and before we knew it the pile under the tree had over-flowed onto our desks. Over 60 brand new toys, games and teddy bears were collected on Friday by EACH, ready for children to open Christmas morning.

Amanda made a donation on behalf of SVC Group for the sum of £500.00, which will help fund vital support services offered to families, children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk.

Abigail Roberts, EACH Corporate Fundraiser came to visit SVC HQ this morning, to meet the team and pick up a special build-a-bear called Peanut, who was made by hand with love, and blessed with a Christmas wish by one of our colleagues especially for the project.

We are very grateful for SVC Group’s support of EACH” said Abigail “The donation of both toys and £500 will help us to continue our vital work with local families and children with life-threatening conditions. We are really looking forward to working together more in 2016. Thank you so much to the staff and Directors at SVC and Merry Christmas to you all!

Thank you again to everyone that has contributed to the SVC Gift Project 2015, we hope to run the project again next year. If you would like to make a Christmas donation to East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices, you can via the link below:
