Description : A medium sized company in Sudbury is looking to employ a Training Coordinator on an initial 6 month contract but ideally leading into permanent employment.
The position will be initially covering someone going on maternity leave and will involve coordinating the preparation, running and aftercare of a specialised training centre.
You would be responsible for manning the reception area when delegates are arriving, checking them in and explaining the itinerary. Organising on site refreshments and liaising with external catering companies to organise and book lunch buffets. Working with the trainer to ensure that all course and marketing materials are stocked and replenished and course booking forms sent out and collated.
Other duties will include updating the customer database, creating reports, attending meetings when required, ensure the training room is clean and all equipment is maintained. There is a great deal of administration within role, and at varying levels, some more basic and other admin tasks are more involved and senior so the role is very varied. You must be a very well presented person with excellent communication skills and confidence.
This role is suited to someone who wants to take hold of the role, help it grow and develop and ensure there is an opportunity at the end of the contract for a permanent position- which will be given to the right person- even if in another department. Enthusiasm, drive and previous coordination/ admin experience is essential; and any experience of working within a training environment would be a benefit to your application.

Main duties and responsibilities:
