This role will include design and writing documentation that communicates on a technical and commercial level for the end user, along with utilizing the same product portfolio as part of a marketing campaign or other promotional media as it develops.
Main Responsibilities:
You will be working closely with the Web Team, Product Manager, Procurement, and Technical Support to create accurate standardised text modules and SKU level texts to best market each product within our portfolio, optimized for Web use.
You will also work with the Marketing and Web teams developing product and corporate information for use within the Public Relations arena.
Key Tasks:
-Write accurate, informative and engaging product and other texts to best market clients portfolio of products, giving context, key uses and unique selling points of that product, optimized for web usage.
-To clarify end user requirements to ensure that the resulting documentation meets their needs and to gather and study the information needed by end users.
-Manage and ensure that the relevant product data, including datasheet, photos, SKU text and attributes are available for all new product introductions.
-Arrange for sample products and product data to be sent from the supplier for the purposes of portfolio production and procurement.
-Write, design, edit and update data sheets and write and present imaginative editorial company and product promotional text for internal and external publications.
-To enhance document presentation in line with departmental and organisational strategy liaising with the catalogue production team as part of the process
-To take ownership of white space, organizing and creating relevant fillers for each catalogue section to optimize up-selling and cross selling of products via any media form.
-To take ownership for presentation, corrections and proof reading of catalogue introduction pages, Alpha and Manufacturing order code indexes.
-Commissioning, co-ordinating or preparing illustrations.
-To take overall responsibility for indexing and running order of catalogue material ensuring relevant housekeeping action is undertaken when necessary.
